Role Summary/Purpose: The Industrial Solution Tools Engineer you will be responsible for developing CAD applications and related processes in support of the Digital Thread and Brilliant Factory initiatives within Industrial Solutions.
Essential Responsibilities: As the Industrial Solution Tools Engineer, you will:
:Establish standardized processes and procedures fully leveraging Creo / Windchill functionality to maximize engineering productivity
:Assist in development of the Digital Thread / Brilliant Factory roadmap including leverage of CAD / 3D model data to downstream functions
:Develop and drive CAD best practices across organization
:Collaborate with internal users and external resources to identify process improvement opportunities
:Maintain awareness of tool development, innovation, and new software releases
:Provide global user support including troubleshooting and issue resolution as required
:Determine root cause and implement corrective action for issues creating business bottlenecks
:Develop a CAD proficiency program including training requirements and content as required
:Conduct gap analyses and improvement plans required to support engineering / business needs
:Coordination of activities with Information Technology team
Qualifications/Requirements:
:Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or other Engineering discipline
:Minimum of 10 years of experience in Pro/E : Wildfire : Creo
