Title: Certified Pharmacy Tech, PRN (as needed) Location: NC-Sanford Other Locations: Assists the pharmacists in the daily activities of the pharmacy. Primary responsibilities include preparing medications and IV solutions for inpatients and ancillary areas, charging, prepackaging medications, delivering medications, and ordering and receiving medications. Able to work as a team member for patient's continuum of care. SCHEDULE is part-time, as needed, and will include weekend and holiday shifts. High school diploma or equivalent, preferred. Training commensurate with PTCB certification, preferred. Hospital experience, preferred. Must obtain/ maintain CPR according to CCH policy. PTCB Certificate required. (if not certified, must obtain within 12 months of hire). NCBOP registered. Preferred candidate will have basic computer knowledge, knowledge of automated pharmacy systems, and knowledge of IV Aseptic sterile Isolator or ability to learn. Self-motivated.
