POSITION SUMMARY:/h1:
Performs scheduled/unscheduled maintenance and installation tasks on the physical plant, equipment and machinery, according to standards. Position requires demonstration of competency for all on:the:job activities that may have a direct or indirect affect on product safety, legality and/or quality.:/h1:
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES/MAJOR DUTIES
:Performs assigned preventive maintenance tasks.
:Performs scheduled maintenance on plant equipment and machinery.
:Responds to correct and help correct equipment storage/mechanical breakdown. Troubleshoots (when necessary). Repairs/replaces worn/defective parts, motors, control devices, etc.
:Operates machine shop equipment, hand tools, power hand tools, and make required parts when necessary.
:Position may be responsible for operating the facility metal detector(s). For this job responsibility, operator must be full trained.
:Position may be responsible for performing duties in compliance with the Company's HACCP Plan. For this responsibility, individuals must be HACCP Trained by the Facility's HACCP Coordinator.
:Maintains cleanliness of work area.
:Practices and complies with all Company policies and procedures including grooming, dress code, personal hygiene rules, GMP's, safety and work rules, etc.
:Performs other duties as directed by supervision.
