Also, unlike some people on here, we do return phone calls, e-mails, texts, smoke signals, telegrams, etc. We will buy/trade services for your broken down or old as dirt laptop or desktop computer and we pay more than the other guys. Even if it doesn't run. As long as it is a Windows XP or higher machine.
$10/hr plus parts. I can do any computer repair, upgrade, or even just clean it up for you.
So why hire me instead of a certified IT Tech or one of these other guys? Well, I don't charge any mark up on parts, like some of these guys will. I don't give you the run around with prices. I work on laptops, desktops, netbooks, PC's, Macs (lost Mac OS passwords and Mac hardware issues only), Cell/Smart phones (through Carolina Wireless, includes all iPhones). And I don't sell you pirated software either.
Diagnosis is free and I will let you know what's wrong and how much it costs to fix it before doing any work on it. I will match any other estimates. There is a reason that my customers come back for other computer services, I am good at it.
-- Laptop (or desktop) overheating? Let me take care of that for no more than $30. I will open it up, clean out the heat sink, put new thermal paste on the processor and graphics chip, possibly install a copper shim if needed, and test the fans to make sure that they are running properly. I will then clean all viruses, spyware, adware, and malware, and optimize your computer to run as good as it did new (if not even better than new)
-- Computer running slowly?? Let me clean up the viruses, spyware, and adware for $20-$40. This will clear all of your viruses, spyware, and adware. I will then optimize your system to run fast and smooth. I will install programs to help keep these threats at bay, and show you how to use them. There is no virus or spyware bad enough that your system will ever have to be formatted and/or Windows reinstalled. Period.
-- Need more RAM? No problem! I can suggest and add a ram upgrade for you.
-- Want to upgrade to Windows 7? Full legitimate installations starting at $125 (including the price of software) or just $30 if you provide your own installation discs.
-- Laptop DC power jack problems? I can fix those too. Even the ones that require soldering on the motherboard for only a maximum of $50 (Includes parts in most cases)
-- Keys falling off of your laptop? I can fix that too.
-- Laptop screen broken or have dead pixels? Let me help you find a new replacement screen and install it for you for usually less than $100.
-- Want a custom built desktop system? Just tell me what you are looking for and I will do everything from there, with systems starting at $500 AND I will beat any retail store price on a comparably equipped system.
-- Need a system set up? I'll be there. I'll show you how to use your computer. Set up e-mail and other accounts. I'll even install virus and spyware protection. All of this for approximately $50 anywhere in Alamance County
